NCAA Division II flag football is growing at the varsity level and will have at least two conferences sponsoring the sport for the 2026 spring season. The CIAA completed its inaugural season in 2025 with 8 club teams. In spring 2026, Conference Carolinas will have its first season with 11 members. There are also a handful of independent and additional club teams in Division II.

The Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) will sponsor flag football for the first time during the 2026 spring season. The ECAC will feature teams from all three NCAA Divisions, as well as one USCAA team. Joining the CIAA, Conference Carolinas, and ECAC in the 2026-27 academic year will be the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC).

Please note that Mount St. Mary's (MD) is a member of NCAA Division I, but will compete in the NCAA Division II Conference Carolinas and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) in the 2026 season. Chestnut Hill College (PA) and Holy Family (PA) are both D-II institutions, but will compete in the NCAA Division III Atlantic East Conference in 2026. Finally, Augustana (SD) is a D-II program and competes in a club league with five NCAA Division III schools. Augustana, Chestnut Hill, Holy Family, and Mount St. Mary's are included on the D-II map. A list of all the NCAA Division II teams can be found below the map.

Feel free to check out the main teams section, where you can view all affiliations and divisions in one location. We have also provided separate maps and lists for NCAA Division I, NCAA Division III, NAIA, and schools outside the NCAA/NAIA. Feel free to check out those individual pages or the list of future flag football teams that will compete starting in 2026-27 or later.
