The teams listed on this page are primarily from community or junior colleges, but the list is not exclusively two-year schools. The NCCAA and USCAA have four-year institutions, as do some of the non-affiliated schools. This page serves as a catch-all for schools outside the NCAA and NAIA governing bodies.

Several conferences will compete in 2026-27, led by the NJCAA's FCSAA, which has seen Florida Gateway College dominate in the flag finals the past four years. The NJCAA will elevate women's flag football to a championship sport beginning with the 2027-28 academic year. There are currently four governing bodies that are listed on this page:

  • California Community College Athletic Association (3C2A/CCCAA)
  • National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA)
  • National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA)
  • United States Collegiate Athletic Association (USCAA)
  • Schools not affiliated with a collegiate national governing body

The 3C2A currently has only one conference sponsoring women's college flag football: the Orange Empire Conference. The NJCAA has two conferences sponsoring the sport: the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) and the Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA). The ACCC is the only conference that currently competes in the fall, while the FCSAA competes in the spring along with the rest of the NJCAA programs. Finally, Penn State Schuylkill is a member of the USCAA but will compete in the NCAA Division III Atlantic East Conference and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). A list of all the 3C2A/CCCAA, NCCAA, NJCAA, USCAA, and non-affiliated teams is provided below the map.

Penn State Schuylkill (PA) and Villa Maria College (NY) are members of the USCAA and will compete against NCAA schools in the multi-divisional Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). Schuylkill also competes in the NCAA Division III Atlantic East Conference.

Feel free to check out the main teams section, where you can view all affiliations and divisions in one location. We have also provided separate maps and lists for NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA. Feel free to check out those individual pages or the list of future flag football teams that will compete starting in 2027-28 or later. All women's college flag football changes going into effect with the 2026-27 academic year can be found here.
