NAIA Women's College Flag Football Teams
The NAIA was the first collegiate governing body to compete in flag football in 2021. Since then, the NAIA has grown with more than 60 varsity teams expected to compete in the 2026-27 academic year. That growth has also led to five conferences sponsoring the sport for the 2027 spring season:
- Great Southwest Athletic Conference (GSAC)
- Heart of America Athletic Conference (HAAC)
- Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference (KCAC)
- Southern States Athletic Conference (SSAC)
- Sun Conference
The KCAC and Sun began competing in 2021, while the Great Southwest Athletic Conference held its first season in the 2026 spring season. The Heart of America Athletic Conference and Southern States Athletic Conference will compete for the first time in the 2027 spring season. A list of all the NAIA teams is also provided below the map. All women's college flag football changes going into effect with the 2026-27 academic year can be found here.
Feel free to check out the main teams section, where you can view all affiliations and divisions in one location. We have also provided separate maps and lists for NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and schools outside the NCAA/NAIA. Feel free to check out those individual pages or the list of future flag football teams that will compete starting in 2027-28 or later.
