World Flag Series has announced its second professional flag football event. WFS2 will take place on Saturday, September 19, at York Lions Stadium in Toronto, Canada. It will be the first professional flag football event ever held in Canada.

WFS2 will see the return of H.E.R. (Hustle Every Rep) and the Glitter Bombs from WFS1. New for this event will be the Midnight Ballers, with the complete roster to be announced at a later date.

H.E.R. won WFS1 over the Glitter Bombs 12-7. H.E.R. went undefeated in the event, with Haylie Young winning the WFS1 MVP Award. Rylee Bolser and Sarah Mussucci of the Glitter Bombs were named the Offensive and Defensive Players of the Tournament, respectively. WFS1 was held at Suncoast Credit Stadium in Tampa, Florida, on Saturday, July 25.

WFS2 will retain the same format as WFS1. The format will be 5-on-5, and each of the three teams will be composed of 10 athletes. More than 10 countries will be represented at WFS2. Broadcast information, complete rosters, and additional event details will be announced in the coming weeks.

World Flag Series Founder and CEO Philip Cutler had this to say about WFS2 and Canada's recent success at the 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championships:

“Canada is having a moment in flag football. The national teams are competing with the best countries in the world, participation is growing across the country, and Canadian athletes are proving they belong on the biggest stages in the sport. Bringing Canada its first professional flag football event at this moment feels incredibly significant.
For young athletes across Canada, the pathway is becoming real. You can grow up playing flag football, continue competing at higher levels, represent your country at the Olympic Games, and now see professional athletes taking the field in Canada. That is what growing a sport looks like.
WFS was created to give the world’s best flag football athletes a stage worthy of their talent, while giving the next generation players they can watch, follow, and aspire to become.”
