Welcome to the August 24 edition of the women's college flag football newsletter here at Collegiate Flag Football. We will look at the various stories and happenings across the sport over the last week, between Monday, August 17, and Sunday, August 23, 2026. 2 Additions This Week

Gwynedd Mercy University (PA) will add a varsity women's flag football team beginning with the 2026-27 academic year. Gwynedd will compete in the NCAA D-III Atlantic East Conference.

Roanoke College (VA) will add varsity women's flag football beginning with the 2027-28 academic year. Roanoke is the seventh NCAA D-III ODAC school to add a varsity program.

2026 Fall Season Starts This Weekend

The 2026 women's college flag football season will get underway this weekend with the NJCAA's Alabama Community College Conference taking the field. After North Alabama and Calhoun (AL) play an exhibition game on Thursday, August 27, there will be 8 conference games on Sunday, August 30.

2026-27 Scheduling News

Emmanuel University (GA) announced its 2027 flag football spring schedule. The Lions will start the season on Saturday, February 13, against reigning four-time NJCAA Champions Florida Gateway. The regular season will conclude on Saturday, April 10, versus King (TN). The full schedule is below.

Radford University (VA) announced its 2026 fall schedule. Radford's club team will play a tri-meet at Our Lady of the Lake (TX) on Saturday, September 26; at the Bridgewater (VA) jamboree on Saturday, October 3; host a jamboree on Saturday, October 10; and play at Coastal Carolina (SC) on Saturday, November 14.

Clemson University (SC) will host its 2nd TigerTown Showdown on Sunday, October 18, in Clemson, South Carolina. College teams interested in participating can register here.

The University of Florida announced that its 38th annual Swamp Bowl will take place from Friday, October 23 through Sunday, October 25. College teams interested in participating can register here.

Bradley University (IL) and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (TX) are seeking opponents for the 2027 spring season. Details are provided in the table below.

Blueprint to Build Flag Football Program Course

Sports Management Worldwide will host a Flag Football Leadership course. There will be a free live DOC Talk with Eastern University (PA) head coach Amanda Ruller on Monday, August 31, starting at 8 PM Eastern Time. There will also be an 8-week online course with Amanda Ruller on developing a blueprint to build a successful flag football program. The course is aimed at athletic directors, coaches, and flag football leaders, and will begin on Monday, September 7

Arizona Christian University is seeking a defensive coordinator for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should submit a resume, cover letter, and any relevant coaching materials to head coach Michael Maccagnano at michael.maccagnano@arizonachristian.edu.

Batten University (VA) is seeking an assistant coach for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should send a resume, cover letter, and three professional references to head coach Jamaar Hawkins at jhawkins@batten.edu.

Bethany College (WV) is seeking a graduate assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should provide a resume, cover letter, and the names and contact information of three professional references to Anna Taylor at artaylor@bethanywv.edu with the subject line “Graduate Assistant for Flag Football.”

NEW THIS WEEK: Binghamton University (NY) posted a job description for a women's flag football assistant coach. Binghamton will begin competing in the 2027-28 academic year.

Bowling Green State University (OH) is seeking a wide receiver and defensive back coach for its women's flag football club team for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should reach out via the team's social media account.

Campbellsville University (KY) is seeking a graduate assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should contact head coach Spencer McCown at psmccown@campbellsville.edu.

Carleton University (Ottawa, Canada) is seeking women's flag football assistant coaches for the upcoming 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should reach out via the team's social media account or by contacting carletonwfootball@gmail.com.

NEW THIS WEEK: Central Community College (NE) announced Justin Humphries as the inaugural head coach of the women's flag football program. Humphries previously served as the tight ends coach and an offensive assistant for the men's tackle football program at NCAA Division II Southern Nazarene University (OK). CCC announced it would add women's flag football in March.

Charleston Southern University (SC) is seeking a graduate assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should contact head coach Angela Villarreal-Ortiz via email at flagfootball@csuniv.edu.

Christian Brothers University (TN) posted the job description for a women's flag football head coaching position. CBU has not officially announced the start of a flag football team.

Culver-Stockton College (MO) posted the job description for the women's flag football head coaching position. Culver-Stockton will begin playing in the 2027-28 academic year.

UPDATED THIS WEEK: Davenport University (MI) posted the job description for a women's flag football assistant coach position. Davenport is seeking a defensive coordinator and another assistant coach.

Dickinson State University (ND) posted the job description for a women's flag football head coaching position. This job is for an intramural team.

Eastern University (PA) is seeking a graduate assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should contact head coach Amanda Ruller via email at amanda.ruller@eastern.edu.

Eastern University (PA) posted the job description for an assistant women's flag football coach.

East Texas Baptist University is seeking a graduate assistant. Those interested should send their resume and a statement of faith to head coach Maddie Melton at mmelton@etbu.edu. ETBU will begin competing in the 2026-27 academic year.

Elmira College (NY) is seeking a graduate assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should contact head coach Billy McCrae at wmccrae@elmira.edu.

NEW THIS WEEK: Ferrum College (VA) named Gaspar Ramos as offensive coordinator for the women's flag football team. Ramos competes on the Panama men's national flag football team.

NEW THIS WEEK: Franklin Pierce University (NH) named Maria del Carmen Sacristan as the inaugural head coach for the women's flag football program. Sacristan played professionally in the Women's Football Alliance, winning the 2022 and 2023 championships with the Boston Renegades. FPU will begin competing in the 2027-28 academic year.

Gardner-Webb University (NC) is seeking a graduate assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should reach out to head coach Mike Brown at mbrown56@gardner-webb.edu.

Georgia Military College posted the job description for the women's flag football head coaching position. GMC has not officially announced the launch of a flag football team.

The Guimond Vukovic Group (GVG) is offering postgraduate opportunities for athletes seeking a one-year master's degree in the United Kingdom. Scholarship opportunities are available for students with a GPA of 2.8 or higher. Athletes who wish to continue playing collegiate flag football, develop programs, build the sport internationally, or pursue coaching opportunities are encouraged to apply. GVG offers a free service to connect student-athletes with partner institutions in the U.K. The FAQ section on GVG's website provides additional information. This postgraduate opportunity is in the United Kingdom.

NEW THIS WEEK: Gwynedd Mercy University (PA) posted the job description for the women's flag football head coaching position. Gwynedd Mercy will begin competing in the 2026-27 academic year.

Hartwick College (NY) posted a job description for a part-time assistant flag football coach.

Hastings College (NE) is seeking a graduate assistant and a volunteer assistant coach for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should send a resume to head coach De'Andre Robinson at deandre.robinson@hastings.edu.

Hawaii Pacific University posted a job description for an assistant coaching position on the women's flag football team.

Indiana Institute of Technology posted a job description for the women's flag football head coaching vacancy. Indiana Tech will begin competing in the 2027-28 academic year.

Indiana Wesleyan University is seeking assistant coaches for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should reach out to Jeff Reyes at jeff.reyes@indwes.edu. IWU will begin competing in the NAIA during the 2026-27 academic year.

NEW THIS WEEK: Kansas Wesleyan University named Shanya Murape as an assistant coach for the 2026-27 academic year. Murape was part of KWU's flag football team the last four years, playing quarterback and linebacker.

Kennesaw State University (GA) is seeking volunteer coaches for its women's flag football team during the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should fill out this form.

Keystone College (PA) is seeking a graduate assistant for the women's flag football team for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should send a resume to Kacy Manning at kacy.manning@keystone.edu.

Lebanon Valley College (PA) posted a job description for the women's flag football head coaching vacancy. LVC will compete at a varsity level no later than the 2028-29 academic year.

Life University (GA) is seeking a graduate assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should contact head coach Zack Desmarais at zack.desmarais@life.edu.

Lindsey Wilson University (KY) is seeking a graduate assistant for the 2026-27 academic year.

Manchester University (IN) posted the job description for the women's flag football head coaching position. Manchester will begin playing in the 2027-28 academic year.

Manhattanville University (NY) posted a job description for a women's flag football head coach position. Manhattanville will begin competing in the 2027-28 academic year.

Marian University (WI) is seeking a stipend assistant coach and a volunteer assistant coach for the 2026-27 flag football season. Those interested should contact head coach Max Denning at mwdenning28@marianuniversity.edu.

Marymount University (VA) is seeking a graduate assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should contact head coach Michael Rivera at mrivera@marymount.edu and offensive coordinator Creed Hall at cahall@marymount.edu.

Marymount University (VA) posted the job description for a women's flag football assistant coaching position.

Meredith College (NC) is seeking volunteer assistants for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should contact head coach Bryonne Herring at baherring@meredith.edu. Meredith will begin competing in the 2026-27 academic year.

NEW THIS WEEK: Messiah University (PA) named Ryan Brown as the inaugural head coach of the women's flag football program. Brown graduated from Messiah in 2009 and coached high school football at nearby Mechanicsburg HS from 2006 through 2011. More recently, he was part of Messiah's strength and conditioning staff in 2023 and 2024. Messiah will begin competing in the 2027-28 academic year.

Mississippi Valley State University posted the job description for the women's flag football head coaching position. MVSU previously announced it would launch in the 2026-27 academic year.

Montgomery County Community College (PA) posted the job description for a women's flag football assistant coaching position.

Moorpark College (CA) posted a job description for a women's flag football head coach position. Moorpark announced a new program at the end of June.

NEW THIS WEEK: North Carolina Central University named Jennifer King as the inaugural head coach of the varsity women's flag football program. King played professional tackle football in the Women's Football Alliance and Women's National Football Conference, as well as becoming an NFL assistant with the Chicago Bears and Washington Commanders. NCCU will play its first season in the 2026-27 academic year in the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC).

North Park University (IL) posted the job description for a women's flag football graduate assistant position for the 2026-27 academic year.

NEW THIS WEEK: Penn State Schuylkill (PA) named Tyson Parsons as the new head coach of the women's flag football team. Parsons takes over for Bryan Valentine, who was the program's first head coach. Valentine went 1-14 in the 2025 spring season before improving to 10-15 in 2026.

NEW THIS WEEK: Post University (CT) named Jamie Bryant as an assistant coach for the women's flag football program. Bryant was the head coach at Manchester High School in Connecticut, which won the state championship this past spring.

Purdue University Northwest (IN) is seeking a flag football graduate assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should contact head coach Micah Lowe at lowe169@pnw.edu.

NEW THIS WEEK: Radford University (VA) is seeking an assistant coach for the women's flag football club team. Those interested should send a resume to head coach Keith Pulliam at kepulliam@radford.edu.

Roanoke College (VA) posted the job description for a women's flag football head coaching position. Roanoke will begin competing in the 2027-28 academic year.

Roxbury Community College (MA) posted the job description for a women's flag football assistant coaching position.

NEW THIS WEEK: Russell Sage College (NY) announced that assistant coach Colin Ellsworth will return for the 2026-27 academic year. RSC also announced that Kyle Ford will join the coaching staff as an assistant for the upcoming academic year.

San Bernardino Community College District (CA) posted the job description for the women's flag football head coaching position. The position will be for either San Bernardino Valley College or Crafton Hills College. Neither school has officially announced the launch of a flag football program.

Shaw University (NC) posted the job description for a women's flag football assistant coaching position. Shaw will add women's flag football beginning with the 2026-27 academic year.

Simpson University (CA) is seeking assistant coaches for the women's flag football team in the upcoming 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should contact head coach Jose Sanchez at jsanchez@simpsonu.edu.

St. Lawrence University (NY) posted a job description for the women's flag football head coaching vacancy. St. Lawrence will begin competing in the 2027-28 academic year.

SUNY Cortland (NY) is seeking volunteer coaches for its club team during the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should reach out to them via social media or contact Kathryn Brennan at kathryn.brennan@cortland.edu.

Tiffin University (OH) posted the job description for a women's flag football club team head coaching position. Tiffin has not officially announced a flag football program. The school also posted a description for the men's flag football club team opening.

Union College of Union County (NJ) posted job descriptions for a women's flag football head coach and an assistant coach. UCNJ has not yet announced the addition of a women's flag football program.

United States Sports University (AL) posted the job description for a women's flag football head coaching vacancy. USSU hasn't officially announced a flag football program.

The University at Albany (NY) is seeking a head coach and assistant coach for its women's flag football club team in the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should reach out via social media or contact fgriffin@albany.edu.

NEW THIS WEEK: The University of Bridgeport (CT) is seeking volunteer head coaches for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should contact head coach Kwadir Delgado-McIntyre at kdelga@bridgeport.edu.

The University of California San Diego is seeking volunteer coaches for its women's flag football club team during the 2026-27 academic year.

The University of Mount Olive (NC) is seeking a graduate assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should submit an application, resume, and a minimum of three references to head coach Derrick Lucas at dlucas@umo.edu.

NEW THIS WEEK: The University of Nebraska-Lincoln named Amy Stephens as the Director of Operations for the women's flag football program. Stephens played for Nebraska's women's basketball team from 1985 through 1989. She went on to become an assistant at Iowa State, Memphis, Nebraska, and Saint Louis. She was the head coach at Nebraska-Kearney and Drake from 1994 through 2012. Nebraska moved its first season to the 2027 spring season.

The University of Nevada is seeking a volunteer head coach for its women's flag football program. Those interested should reach out to the team via social media or email Jordan Katz at jordankatz@unr.edu. Nevada will compete as a club team beginning with the 2026-27 academic year.

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro is seeking volunteer coaches for the 2026-27 academic year. UNC Greensboro will have a club team.

NEW THIS WEEK: The University of North Florida announced its coaching staff for the 2026-27 academic year.

The University of North Texas at Dallas posted a job description for the women's flag football head coaching position. UNT Dallas will begin competing in the 2026-27 academic year.

NEW THIS WEEK: The University of Pennsylvania named Allen "Al" Torrance as an assistant coach of the women's flag football club team.

University of Redlands (CA) posted the job description for the women's flag football head coaching position. Tatum Etchegoyen-Springer previously led Redlands to a 15-14 overall record in the last two seasons.

NEW THIS WEEK: Washington Adventist University (MD) posted the job description for the women's flag football head coaching position.

Webber International University (FL) is seeking an assistant coach/defensive coordinator, volunteer assistant coaches, and graduate assistants for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should reach out via social media or send a resume to head coach Collin Johnson at JohnsonCB@webber.edu.

Westfield State University (MA) posted the job description for the women's flag football head coaching position. Westfield State will launch a club team for the 2026-27 academic year and transition the team to varsity status in 2027-28.

William Penn University (IA) is seeking a graduate assistant for the 2026-27 academic year. Those interested should reach out to head coach Lamaar Thomas at lamaar.thomas@wmpenn.edu.

Eastern Michigan Announces Inaugural Team

Eastern Michigan University announced its inaugural roster for the 2026-27 academic year. EMU will have 23 players, including 9 athletes who transferred from Siena Heights University in the NAIA. Five additional players previously played in the NCAA or NAIA last season. The Eagles will take the field for the first time in spring 2027, with head coach Jesse Siordia leading the team.

ECSU Completes Dedicated Flag Football Field

Eastern Connecticut State University completed the finishing touches for its flag football-specific field. It is the first college to have a dedicated field specifically for women's flag football. ECSU will begin competing in the 2027 spring season.

Hawaii Pacific Coach Talks Flag Football

Hawaii Pacific University head coach Kanda Korver spoke to Hawaii Sports Radio Network about her path to becoming the inaugural head coach at the school. Korver played college volleyball and captained the team at Occidental College (CA). She founded an athlete development organization called Kore Vibration, which has helped more than 1,500 athletes to date, and was the assistant coach for the KS-Kapālama girls flag football team this past spring.

HPU has already announced 8 commitments, with Korver stating that there will be some collegiate transfers on the initial roster. Korver also noted that Hawaii has embraced flag football, making it a bit easier to recruit the various islands. Hawaii Pacific is slated to start competing during the 2026-27 academic year.

IFAF, IOC, and NFL Partnering Up

The International Federation of American Football (IFAF), International Olympic Committee (IOC), and National Football League (NFL) announced an agreement to collaborate and promote flag football globally. The three entities will promote the sport for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics to expand its global reach.

Liz Sowers Shares Her Football Story

University of Nebraska women's flag football head coach Liz Sowers shared her football story and how flag football can provide new opportunities for girls and women. Sowers wrote about her childhood, when football wasn't a conventional path for women. She didn't expect to be in the football community until she ended up playing flag football for the US National Team. At Nebraska, Sowers relishes the opportunity to provide players a path she didn't have at that age.

Over 200 NFL Players Interested in 2028 Olympics

More than 200 NFL players have expressed interest in competing at the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics. The NFL owners voted in May 2025 to allow players to compete, with players having to go through the US National Team trials to be part of the team. The US men's flag football national team won the 2026 IFAF Flag Football World Championship last weekend, defeating Italy 46-26.

World Flag Series Announces WFS2

World Flag Series has announced its second professional flag football event. WFS2 will take place on Saturday, September 19, at York Lions Stadium in Toronto, Canada. It will be the first professional flag football event ever held in Canada. WFS1 champions H.E.R. (Hustle Every Rep) and the runners-up, Glitter Bombs, will return in WFS2. The Midnight Ballers will be the third team at the event, making their WFS debut.

Freed-Hardeman University (TN) will host a speed, agility, and skills camp on Saturday, August 29, from 9 AM to 12:30 PM. The camp is open ot girls in grades 2 through 12 and boys in grades 2 through 8. The camp will be held on campus in Henderson, Tennessee.

Randy Phillips will host a free women's college flag football showcase on Saturday, August 29, from 9:30 AM to 12 PM. Phillips is the head coach at Roxbury Community College (MA), and the showcase will be attended by Dean College (MA) and Post University (CT). The showcase will take place in Central Falls, Rhode Island.

The University of Michigan will host a girls flag football summer camp on Saturday, August 29, and Sunday, August 30, from 1 to 6 PM. The camp is open to athletes ages 11 through 18 and will be held at Hubbard Field in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

NEW THIS WEEK: The College of Saint Benedict (MN) will co-host a women's college flag football camp with Minnesota Motion on Sunday, August 30, from 12 to 2 PM. The camp is open to athletes in grades 9 through 12 and will be held at Minnetonka High School.

The University of Georgia will host a women's flag football clinic on Sunday, August 30, from 4 to 6 PM. The clinic is open to athletes ages 14 through 18 and will be held at Jackson County High School in Hoschton, Georgia. Interested athletes can sign up here.

Elmira College (NY) will host a flag football prospect day on Sunday, September 13, from 10 AM to 3 PM. The camp is open to 9th through 12th graders and will be held on campus at the football field in Elmira, New York.

Cedar Crest College (PA) will host a women's flag football prospect camp on Sunday, September 19, from 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM. The camp is open to high school athletes. The camp will be held on campus in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

Lawrence University (WI) will host a women's flag football visit day on Saturday, September 19. Lawrence will spend the 2026-27 academic year recruiting, followed by competition in 2027-28.

NEW THIS WEEK: Campbellsville University (KY) will host the Dart Queen Showcase on Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM to 1 PM. The showcase is open to athletes ages 10 through 18. The showcase will be held on campus at the football field in Campbellsville, Kentucky.

Lindsey Wilson University (KY) will host a flag football elite showcase on Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM to 2 PM. The showcase is open to athletes in grades 6 through 12 and will be held on campus at Parnell Family Stadium in Columbia, Kentucky.

The Cleveland Browns (OH) will host an NFL FLAG Super Regional on Saturday, October 3. The tournament will be held at the Forever Lawn Sports Complex in Canton, Ohio. The registration deadline is Monday, August 31.

Florida Gateway College will host a women's flag football prospect camp on Saturday, October 3, from 3 to 6 PM. The camp will be held on campus at the FGC Flag Football Complex in Lake City, Florida. Those interested in participating should contact head coach Ricky Hufty at frank.huftyiv@fgc.edu.

SUNY Brockport (NY) will host a women's flag football prospect camp on Saturday, October 3. The camp is open to athletes in grades 9 through 12 and will be held on campus at Bob Boozer Field in Brockport, New York.

The Dallas Cowboys (TX) will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Saturday, October 10. The tournament will be held at the Ford Center in Frisco, Texas. The registration deadline is Monday, September 7.

The Detroit Lions (MI) will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Saturday, October 10. The tournament will be held at the Legacy Center Sports Complex in Brighton, Michigan. The registration deadline is Monday, September 7.

Eastern Connecticut State University is hosting a women's flag football recruit day on Saturday, October 10, from 9:30 AM to 2 PM. The camp is open to high school recruits. The day will include Q&A with head coach Andy Crane, a campus tour, and seeing the flag football team scrimmage at 12:30 PM.

Meredith College (NC) will host a women's flag football prospect camp on Saturday, October 10, from 10 AM to 12 PM. The camp is open to athletes in grades 9 through 12 and will be held on campus at the Meredith College Athletic Turf Facility in Raleigh, North Carolina.

The Las Vegas Raiders (NV) will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Sunday, October 11. The tournament will be held at Heritage Park in Henderson, Nevada. The registration deadline is Monday, September 7.

NEW THIS WEEK: Chestnut Hill College (PA) will host an open house and prospect camp on Saturday, October 17, from 10 AM to 3 PM. The camp will take place from 1 to 3 PM, and both events will be held on campus at the grass field next to the tennis courts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The New York Jets (NJ) will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Sunday, October 18. The tournament will be held at the Athenia Steel Recreation Complex in Clifton, New Jersey. The registration deadline is Monday, September 14.

SCAD Savannah (GA) will host a women's flag football skills camp on Sunday, October 18, from 8 to 11 AM. The camp is open to athletes in grades 8 through 12 and will be held at the SCAD Athletics Complex in Hardeeville, South Carolina.

The Chicago Bears (IL) will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Saturday, October 24. The tournament will be held at the Clarence Hicks Sports Complex in Rockford, Illinois. The registration deadline is Monday, September 21.

The Tennessee Titans will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Saturday, October 24. The tournament will be held at Nolensville High School in Nolensville, Tennessee. The registration deadline is Monday, September 21.

The New Orleans Saints (LA) will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Saturday, October 31. The tournament will be held at the John A Alario Sports Complex in Westwego, Louisiana. The registration deadline is Monday, September 28.

The Pittsburgh Steelers (PA) will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Saturday, October 31. The tournament will be held at Montour Sports Center in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania. The registration deadline is Monday, September 28.

The Buffalo Bills (NY) will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Saturday, November 7. The tournament will be held at Flash Fields in Elma, New York. The registration deadline is Monday, October 5.

The Baltimore Ravens (MD) will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Saturday, November 14. The tournament will be held at Eastern Regional Park in Middle River, Maryland. The registration deadline is Monday, October 12.

Blackburn College (IL) will host a women's flag football prospect clinic on Saturday, November 21, from 2 to 5 PM. The clinic will be held on campus at the Blackburn Athletic Center in Carlinville, Illinois.

The Los Angeles Chargers (CA) will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Saturday, November 21. The tournament will be held at Great Park in Irvine, California. The registration deadline is Monday, October 19.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers (FL) will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Saturday, November 21. The tournament will be held at the SouthShore Complex in Apollo Beach, Florida. The registration deadline is Monday, October 19.

The Houston Texans (TX) will host an NFL FLAG Regional on Saturday, December 5. The tournament will be held at the Farm League Park in Spring, Texas. The registration deadline is Monday, November 2.

She's Next (AZ) will host a girls flag football Senior Showcase on Saturday, December 12, from 9 AM to 1 PM. The showcase is open only to the class of 2027 student-athletes and will be held at Corona del Sol High School in Tempe, Arizona. Athletes can sign up here.

Norco College (CA) will host the Real Ones Only Girls Flag Football Showcase Camp on Saturday, December 5. The camp will take place from 9 AM to 2 PM on campus in Norco, California. Arizona Christian University, Benedictine University Mesa (AZ), Hope International University (CA), La Sierra University (CA), Nevada State University, Our Lady of the Lake University (TX), Purdue University Northwest (IN), Simpson University (CA), and Westcliff University (CA) are slated to be in attendance.

The International Flag League (formerly USA Flag) will host its 2027 National Championships in Tampa, Florida, on MLK weekend in January 2027. The dates are tentatively scheduled for Wednesday, January 13, 2027, through Sunday, January 17, 2027.

The International Flag League (formerly USA Flag) will host its 2027 World Championships in Los Angeles, California, from Thursday, July 8, 2027, through Sunday, July 11, 2027. A collegiate division will be competing for the first time at the 2027 championships.
